Product Description

Used for the collection of sewage, effluent, drainage, toilet, and seepage water removal for homes, farms, light commercial and industrial use. The 9S-SMPXRT-K Simplex System is pre-assembled and ready for installation. This sewage system is able to handle both liquid and solid waste up to 2″ in diameter. The 9S-SMPXRT-K features a 115-volt, 4/10 hp, 6000 gph epoxy-coated cast iron sewage pump with nylon impeller which includes a piggyback tethered float switch that activates when the liquid reaches 16″ – 19″ and shuts off when the water level falls to between 9″ and 11″. The pump has a 20' shut-off and a maximum of 8.7 PSI. This system includes the sewage pump, an 18″ diameter x 30″ high density polyethylene structural foam basin, a 2″ check valve, 4″ adapatflex and multi-tite grommet for the inlet, a 1-piece structural foam slip-fit flange cover with removable bolts that is set-up for a 2″ or 3″ vent and includes a 28.2″ schedule 80 PVC pipe and a 2-cord grommet. The 9S-SMPXRT-K (item # 509073) does not come with an alarm.

This pump is equipped with an air bleed hole which prevents the pump from being airlocked and allowing trapped air to escape. A large volume of water will spray from the pump. The pump is NOT DEFECTIVE. This is normal operation and does not affect the performance of the pump.
