The Little Giant BSP50V 1/2 HP, 3180 GPH, 115-volt sump pump is ideal for use as a sump pump, a backup pump, or for emergency water removal. Weighing only 8.6 pounds allows for easy installation or you can mount the pump above an existing pump as added protection against flooding in flood-prone areas. This pump is equipped with a 1.5-inch FNPT discharge and an 8-ft. power cord and has a small footprint, fitting in basins 14 inches or larger. This pump comes with a piggy-back vertical switch which activates when water reaches 7.25 inches and shuts off when water falls to 2.75 inches. The pump can be easily converted to a manual pump by unplugging the pump from the switch and plugging it directly into a wall outlet; perfect for emergency water removal or for servicing or testing the pump.
